After studying Art & Design at college some years ago, I had always enjoyed being creative & working with my hands. But life gets in the way & I followed the conventional path of Retail Management, Training/Assessor & Office Administration Roles.

During Covid & shielded as I was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer in Aug 2015. Breast, bone & lung plura. This alters your perspective on life. But it gave me a chance to reassess my life & how I wanted to spend my time. 

With the support of my very understanding husband, I have now turned my hobby into a business. I can be flexiable with my hours, but most of all it is great for my mental health & well being. 

Colourful Outlook is my way to express my love of colour- inspired my nature & my love of architecture & travel, I can express happiness & joy through my glass art. So while my health is generally stable my happy place is my workshop or behind a stall chatting to you all.

I love the bright colours & how the sun shines through the glass designs creating cheerful shadows & reflections.

I create personalised gifts, suncatchers, bespoke designs, along side commissioned work for unique art, stained glass windows &/or door panels. All work is made by hand, using either the copper foiled or leaded techniques.
